GEELA AWARD, 2017

The State of California’s most prestigious environmental honor, the Governor’s Environmental and Economic Leadership Award was awarded to us for our Waste Not Program. We’re eliminating plastic and food waste, reducing vehicle miles, and using food that is healthy and produced in the least environmentally damaging manner possible.

FAIR TRADE PROGRAM, 2016

Our cafes carry Fair Trade products whenever possible, to promote fair labor wages and practices for local, small-scale producers.

GREENTOWN CO-OP, 2014

Helps Restaurants Go Compostable eliminate Styrofoam and nonrecyclable plastics used in food service. A buyers’ cooperative aims to reduce landfill waste by replacing petroleum-based products with compostable materials.
